cell phone cover plates

My deck phone doesn't seem to fit. Am I making the right?

I have a pink faceplate for my cell phone (CDM8945) and I was very disappointed when I got it. I tried for the plug, but there are screws on the bottom of the face plate, but there is no place for screws on my phone. Please telll me if there is one sure way need to adjust it or if you just need to be pulled.
