Echo of votes or the cell phone?

I got a new BlackBerry 8350i from Nextel. I absolutely love this phone, but unfortunately, as a paramedic and firefighter, my work is very hard on my phone. To solve this problem I bought a cell phone otter box case involving the phone in a plastic case and tough rubber exterior. Now that is the case of all that I talk to complains that they have a very annoying echo on your end of the line. I do not have the echo of my order. I thought it was strange that while talking to someone, I removed the phone cover and the echo was at the other end of the line. Then place the lid on my phone and the echo at the other end of the phone. Again, no echo on my end of the line. One more thing, the echo occurs in both land-online and cell phones that I talk. Please help? I really need a case like this to protect my phone, but nobody wants to talk to me because of the echo.

Perhaps the use of a headset if you * have * to use this case, either Bluetooth or cable. Otherwise, look for a different case, I'm afraid.
