h15 bluetooth headset

How do I connect a generic USB Bluetooth dongle and headset for Yahoo Messenger?

I have Windows XP Service pk 3. Motorola H15 headset is the dongle USB. The H15 pairs with bluetooth USB and widows indicates that it works correctly, but I can not get anything to work. Do I need any software. any suggestions?
